If I could come back as anything I would be a bee flying straight into an opening heart to drink the nectar of a poem, formed with threads of unraveling after a night that went on for a lifetime, because nothing is sweeter than truth spoken like a spell, throwing open the window to let the flush of morning light in.
Every month I post a collage of original photography paired with a poem. Check out previous Monthly Poetry Reflections here:
July - The Horticultural Phenomenon of Bonsai Trees
June - Fireflies
May - Compassion
April - Color of Confidence
March - Controlled Burn
February - Breaking Routine
January - To Surrender
December - To Write Anyway
November - Morning Walks
October - October
As always, thank you for reading. It means a lot to me.

I really like this one, Sara! It is surprising and fresh and makes death seem like possibility.
This line especially caught me:
“because nothing is sweeter
than truth spoken
like a spell,”
Mm, I feel this one reach me with the honeyed scent of late summer days. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous words and images with us. ❤️
